2012.03.20	WPES website revised 　　After two years in use, WPES webpage has recently been revamped to improve the original functions and to add basic services for international readers. Comments or suggestions are welcome.

2011.09.30	Special Issue on " The Morakot hazards” in preparation 　　After the Morakot Typhoon of 2008, the Earth science community of Taiwan started investigating the associated geological hazards and have gained invaluable research results. In response to requests from the academia and society, the participants of the investigation decided to pool their research results together and publish in a special issue of WPES (2012). Presently nine manuscripts have gone through the review processes and are expected to be printed later this year (Papers in print).
